Valentine’s Charcuterie & Paint Your Date
Saturday, February 8th from 6pm – 9:30pm
Upon arrival enjoy a Charcuterie board appetizer and wine. Then you and your sweetie will jump right in to making your own take-home charcuterie board all while learning the art of Charcuterie food arranging!
You’ll finish off the evening with a fun Paint Your Date session (and maybe another glass of wine?). You’ll learn some painting basics, learn phases of portrait painting & also receive individual instruction while you paint.
What you can expect for Paint your Date: Painting is beginner friendly, similar to “Paint by number”. Email photos of yourself and your date to the art teacher prior to class. Photos are simplified & sketched onto canvases before class. Sit across from your Date, fill in color regions, following your custom color chart. At the end of class there will be a “Reveal your painting to your partner” segment! Acrylic paint, 12 x 12 canvas, all supplies provided.
PHOTOS: Try to find closeups on face, well lit, try to include accessories like hats, sunglasses, headphones, big earrings, full hair. If possible, submit several photos of each person one week before class. Note- if you’d prefer full body & zoomed out, that’s possible – the face will just be smaller/less recognizable. What you can expect for Charcuterie session:
Included in the charcuterie session are all the meats, cheeses, chocolates and other goodies to build your take home charcuterie board, all while learning charcuterie tips and techniques.
