Home Portraits in Watercolor: Paint a Place You Love 🤍
Join Cecilia of Cecilia Rae Artistry at Spruced Studio to create a meaningful watercolor portrait of a home that holds a special place in your heart — your childhood house, current home, first home, or a gift for someone you love.
Before class, you’ll submit a photo of your chosen home (more info below). Cecilia will prepare a printed sketch of your house, and during class you will trace the outline onto watercolor paper using carbon transfer paper. This keeps the project accessible for beginners while giving you ownership in the creation process.
You’ll learn:
â—Ź How to build cozy, natural color palettes
â—Ź Techniques for painting windows, shadows, greenery, and depth
â—Ź Layering watercolor for a polished, finished look
â—Ź Tips for framing, gifting, and displaying your artwork
You’ll leave with a completed 8×10 watercolor house portrait and a memorable creative experience!
Registration + photo due ONE WEEK before class.
